We back our products 100% but we know it's not always easy to shop for a teen girl, let alone, doing it online. Sometimes things just aren't quite right, or you need to change the size.

We want to help you shop with confidence so we offer you 21 days to request a refund or exchange for any full priced items from our store.

So here's what you need to do to get it all happening:

+ head over to our RETURNS + EXCHANGES page and complete the info

+ once your request is in our system, we will be in touch with you about what you need to do next

+ make sure the items are returned the same way you received them, that means unworn, unwashed, with tags and packaging


+ delivery costs for returns and change of mind exchanges are non-refundable

+ unfortunately we cannot accept returns on gift cards and sale items 

If 21 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If everything is in its original condition, then everything should go pretty smoothly.

You will be approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a couple of days.


If it has been several days since you received confirmation from The Teen Age that your order will be refunded, but you haven't seen the refund come in, first check your bank account again (or the method of payment you originally made your purchase with).

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is cleared.


Only full priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.


Sometimes an item you have ordered is not quite right for your teen and you want to swap the size or colour. No problems. Just head to our RETURNS + EXCHANGES page and complete the information.


If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.


If you return your item for a store credit or exchange we will waive the cost of return shipping and provide a return shipping label complimentary. 

If you decide to return your order for a refund, you will be required to pay for your own shipping costs. We will deduct a flat rate of $10.00 from your refund and provide you with a return shipping label. 


Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over$75, we recommend that you consider using a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance as we are not liable for return parcels that go missing.
