As we become more aware of our footprint on the planet, we have recognised the need to design more sustainable options when it comes to sanitary products. And what tween wouldn't want a more comfortable and less intrusive option when it comes to dealing with their period?
So we set out to find what Aussie brands have to offer when it comes to period undies that have been made especially for tween girls to help make their first period as untraumatic as possible.
Never heard of them? That's cos in the 'olden days', they weren't around. Period undies are exactly what they sound like. Underwear that's been made for you to wear during your period. No more thick pads. No more dealing with tampons.
They are a godsend for women and girls alike, and if you haven't tried them yourself, I highly recommend. Don't ask me too many questions about how they do their job as that's not my field of expertise.
